Available Update

This patch is intended for systems running under Windows XP or Windows Vista (not Windows 2000), and updates the Visual Dictionary – multimedia from version 3.5.2 to version 3.5.4.

The installation of the update allows:

- compatibility with version 7.2 (and up) of QuickTime 7.2, which fixes the syllable repetition problem of the pronunciation module;
- compatibility with a wider variety of graphic cards, which corrects the error occurring on some systems during the introductory clip;
- use of keyboard shortcuts (CTRL+1@8) in the monolingual version as well;
- correction of some other minor glitches.

Installation

Download
Select the platform your Visual Dictionary is installed on by clicking on one of the links below. Select the location on your hard-drive where you would like the update to be saved (we recommend that you write down the file name and its location for future reference), and start the download.

Installation
PC

1. Unzip the compressed file (.zip format) you downloaded.
2. Click on the icon called “MAJ_Vis3MW_3.5.2-3.5.4.exe” to start the update process.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
4. You can now enjoy your Visual Dictionary, updated to version 3.5.4, by opening it normally.

MAC

1. Click on the .dmg file you downloaded from the website to create a new volume on your desktop.
2. Open the volume and click on “MAJ_Vis3MW_3.5.2-3.5.4” to start the update process.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

You can now enjoy your Visual Dictionary, updated to version 3.5.4, by opening it normally.
